When we received the estimate to do all the things we wanted to do to our home, it became clear that it would be advantageous for us to purchase a new home. Our first call was to a realtor who, through our children, we had come to know and felt comfortable with in asking us to represent us in the homebuying process, Kristi Bergman. From the start, Kristi was aware that we wanted to stay in Anderson Township as our two boys attended Forest Hills Schools and that we wanted to stay in the same vicinity of our current home as we have enjoyed living in the community. Kristi accompanied us on our visits to three houses that we wanted to view. After a few days, we decided on one of three houses. Immediately, Kristi went to work and provided us with the offer forms. On New Year’s Eve 2018, our offer was accepted and even though we thought Kristi would have taken the holiday off we celebrated on New Year’s Day by working with Kristi and signing a contract to purchase the home. Kristi continuously guided us throughout our homebuying process answering every question we asked, including some off-the-wall questions that my imagination could come up with, all the way to the day she handed us the keys to our new home. Our next action was to sell our current home which was the first time we had ever tried to sell a home. Kristi again assisted us in every step of the way by providing us with suggestions to make our home marketable to sell. We received several offers within the first days after our house went on the market. Kristi reviewed each offer with us and recommended and explained which she believed was the best offer. Kristi continued to work with us, including answering my off-the-wall questions, with the work the buyers requested until our home was sold. When family and friends mention to us that are interested in selling or buying a home, we immediately recommend and provide them with Kristi Berman’s contact information. Unfortunately, we don’t anticipate buying or selling another home in the near future, but when we do, our first call will be to Kristi.
